From Custom Design to Best-Selling Compact Sewer Jetter for Automotive Applications! RCJ frame sewer jetter in a small service van

The RCJ series sewer and drain jetter system was originally designed for a company with a fleet of small vans. The concept was to access the sewer jetter from the van's sliding side door while parked curbside in a residential area. Producing 8 GPM at 4000 PSI, the custom sewer and drain jetter works well in residential and commercial settings with 4” and 6” drain and sewer lines. Additionally, the jetter was supplied with the 200DS4 portable reel on a cart equipped with 200 feet of 3/8” sewer jetting hose, a shut-off valve, and a nozzle.
The reel would be placed near the cleanout, and the 200’ hose provided on the RCJ frame in the van would feed the portable. Power up the machine, start the jet hose in the cleanout, and control the water flow and jetting operation at the 200DS38 shut-off valve. A custom solution with exceptional results!
This machine instantly became a stock machine and is now one of our best sellers for automotive applications!

Custom-Built Skid-Mounted Sewer Jetter Solution

KuettalSeptic Doug Kuettel called us from Kuettel Septic in Hortonville, WI, to discuss his need for a new skid-mounted sewer jetter. He wanted a machine with 2700 PSI at 11.5 GPM installed in as little space as possible in a new truck he had just ordered. Because the truck was equipped to do work other than jetting, space was an issue.
The new truck was dropped off at our facility. And what a nice truck it was: color-matched metallic paint, fiberglass-lined walls, custom lighting, and all stainless steel fixtures. We used a stainless steel framework to match everything in the space Doug requested. The truck arrived on Monday and was ready to go on Thursday afternoon. At last word, Doug was talking about another new machine with more ideas to make each day easier.

Unique Blended Pressure Washer Design for Food Processing Plant

adm_pressure_washer This custom pressure washer was designed for a multi-bay truck wash at an Illinois fructose corn syrup plant. The plant needed a hot water pressure washer that could withstand the high temperatures of their boiler system―where prior pressure washers had proved inadequate due to uncontrollable inlet water temperatures and flow. Because pumps capable of handling high inlet water temperatures and flows can be four to five times more expensive to purchase and repair than standard industrial-duty pressure washer pumps, they turned to our custom-build capabilities for a solution that worked for them.
We designed a system to blend the hot boiler water with cold water to the desired temperatures (around 160°F) for pressure washing the exterior of the tanks and trucks. With minor modifications, this model is popular in the food processing industry for various uses. It features a compact, space-saving design and the ability to deliver varied rates of flow and pressure with multiple guns. Solutions equal satisfaction!

Keeping Drill Bits Clean in the Mining Industry! Mining industry pressure washer for cleaning drilling nozzles

This machine was a combined job between Cam Spray and a company involved in mining worldwide. Powered by a Hatz® Diesel engine, this cart model machine produces 4 GPM at 3000 PSI and is integrated into the drill chassis with a stainless steel control panel mounted near the drilling tool area. This allows for efficient cleaning of the drill bits and drill rods while changing and servicing these components.
This machine is a prime example of the work we do with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for the gas, oil, and mining industry and is only a small part of a piece of equipment that costs millions of dollars. The job couldn’t get done without this key component!

Custom-Made Hydraulic Pressure Washer for the Military

Military cement truck using hydraulic pressure washer This is another example of a combined effort in which the Cam Spray family is only a small but essential part of the whole machine. A manufacturer of cement trucks for the military contacted us for a hydraulic-powered pressure washer system with a retractable reel for incorporation into their truck designs. After a few phone calls and a trip to the plant to finalize the requirements, we designed a package that could drop right into place. The pressure wash system with the 50’ hose produces 4 GPM at 3000 PSI and can wash the truck after a day of service. We are proud to support the military industry and provide the tools they need to succeed!

la_water_easement_sewer_jetter Municipality Seeks Power Washer Solution for Hard-to-Reach Areas

A large city had issues getting into easement areas with equipment to clean short-run 8” and 10” sewer lines. Equipped with a custom machine―which produces 11 GPM of hot water at 2500 PSI―a ½ ton pick-up truck could easily maneuver within the easement areas. They were able to access hydrants nearby for the water source, reducing room and weight concerns. Now, they can clear sewer lines and manholes every 200 feet while maintaining service in areas that were hard to access before. Our solutions for municipalities result in satisfied citizens and city workers!

Emergency Sewer Jetter Solution!

Custom installation of a sewer jetter in a used ambulance Mort’s Water, a local company with a long family history in the industry, contacted us with a unique idea. They already owned several of our trailer sewer jetting systems and had purchased a used ambulance that still had lots of life left in it. They wanted us to take our skid-mounted sewer jetting platform and incorporate the design into the usable space in the ambulance.
Locating narrow 100-gallon tanks to a position over the wheel compartments was a huge space saver. Building the skid for the power unit and the DC-powered reel, the sewer jetter fell into place and was ready to respond to that first emergency call! At Cam Spray, we find the best solutions for any industrial application.

Mobile Railcar Refurbishing Receives Heavy-Duty Pressure Washer

GE Railcar is a facility that refurbishes railcars that have been hauling Portland cement for several years. Each time the railcar is loaded, some of the Railroad car refurbishing pressure washer Portland cement remains on top of the car. Add a little moisture, and the build-up on the top can be several inches thick. After several years of loading and unloading, the Portland cement dust coats the entire outside surface of the car. So, they called Cam Spray to tackle the job.
We developed a portable 7000 PSI cold water pressure washer to remove the Portland cement coating before refurbishing. This model later became the standard 7000HXR pressure washer in our product line. Just another example of how Cam Spray can turn custom solutions into long-term offerings to help other customers with mobile washing equipment!

Pork Production: Custom Sewer Jetters for Superior Drain Line Maintenance

Narrow electric jetter developed for inside a pork production facility for drain maintenance If you’ve ever been in a pork production facility, you know there’s a lot going on. Mix together pigs of all sizes, walkways in the range of 24” wide, drains to carry away water, feed, and some manure, and you have a recipe for clogged drain lines. The electric-powered drain jetter we call the N3050J, or Narrow Jet, is the answer to this problem.
A local company brought these issues to us, and we responded with a solution. This custom machine is set up to clean 4” and 6” drain lines on a regular cleaning schedule to maintain the line. Equipped with a 75’ hose, the pressure washer sewer jetter produces 5 GPM at 3000 PSI with a grenade nozzle to wash the drain line. Drain jetting every week eliminates the need for costly emergency service calls.
